One of the neat things of this view is it shows the build up of sand deposits at Birch Bay. You can visualize a tide coming into the bay bringing silt and sand with it. Then eventually, depositing much of it off Birch Bay Village. That area appears to be an accrual area. Where do these deposits come from? Both Birch Point and Point White Horn areas.
